what are these for? they don't keep enemies from attacking, that's for sure...


she is all you could need she will feed you tomatoes and radiowire .

oh yes! another thing that could have been mentioned somewhere... I played two entire games without knowing what these things did.

Throw away the cat.

The spider was good for a random chase, as Jurak said.

The frog, though - that's a keeper. When you're encumbered and can't run, just change into the frog. It's a SoW for DD. Just remember that you can't activate a portal or interact with any NPC's while small and green. (Just right click on the statuette again to cancel the morph.)

Orcs are friendly towards spiders, so you can easily do the two army quests using one. I never paid attention as a frog, but its alignments with various monsters may be different as well.

I think I found a place in Verdistis (Yay! I can spell it.) where the Cat Statuette could be useful, but I haven't got one on me. In the South-West, there are two women fighting over the house left to the adopted daughter. The front door is locked but the back one opens. Only there's a stack of wood that you cannot move blocking the doorway. Can the cat get through there?

There should be a key for the locked door in a nearby tree stump, or something. The blocked off door is just a decoy.
