Is the Elf language in Divine Divinity inspired by the German Dark Eye PnP setting? Because the Elves use the same terms, for example "Sanyasala" and "Nurd'hao".

Possible. Because before Divinity 1, Larian was working on LMK, and that was meant to be an TDE game (being produced in collaboration with Attic, who had a license for making it, then).

The word combination (I think it' actually 2 words) of "sanya sala" also appears in I think both Drakensang games (although I'm ot 100% sure anymore).

And then, when they developed LMK, they had TDE p&p material at hand, they had to, since it was *based* on the P&P rules set ...
