Hello. I am among the crowd (im)patientily waiting the US release of DKS... pre-ordered with release date delivery from amazon.com , but as the original divinity 2 had an insert stating that their was a bradygames(or maybe it was Prima Games) released strategy guide that was available for purchase that didnt end up being the case. for those unaware the advertised strategy guide was never completed or even released in stores at all. But since we are looking at a new game has their been any word on a strategy guide coming out for DKS? most people now and days say that "strategy guides are replaced and theirs better information on the internet" which may be true, but like a collector of anything even though digital offerings are available, lets take a stab and say kindle electronic books versus a physical copy... I like to have it in hand. But i'm getting ahead of myself, do we have any word on a guide coming out?

EDIT: I searched the term "Strategy guide" prior to posting and have made every effort to ensure I haven't double posted

I'm in the U.S. and purchased a boxed game of DKS (PC DVD) back in January - not sure why you still haven't been able to get a copy.

I like having strategy guides for my favorite games. I mostly like to use them after my first playthrough to find things I may have missed.

But I also like them from a game collector perspective - the strategy guides provide the most complete record of information about a game you have in your library - invaluable after a decade or two (or more) have gone by...

Wolfgame;
There has not been any mention of a strategy guide in the forum.
The Prima guide for D2:ED (pdf only) was listed for sale on their website briefly, then got changed to 'coming soon' and was then canceled.

DebateMe;
The US Xbox release is not until April 12th.
Where did you find the PC DVD version? There was no official DVD release in the US and last I heard nobody that had it in Canada, etc, shipped outside their own country. If you got it at a large chain type store then maybe region exclusivity deals have expired.

Actually you're right. I ended up getting the boxed version from GoGamer, a British website. So I guess I have the European version. I've no idea if there will be a difference between the Euro version and the U.S. version... but the copy I have is all in English, so I'm a happy camper.

While not a complete guide (notably, it won't have any information or lists of quests themselves), I am planning to update the guide linked to in my signature to include all relevant DKS information once it is released in the US on the 360 (or rather, that is when I'll begin; it will probably be a few months after that before it's complete).

It doesn't help with quests, but it'll contain a compendium of almost all other relevant and useful information.
