Ok, its a two parter...

(Note: I have completed the Crystal Skull quest, Vigor Mortis. I have yet to click "I'd like to work on my creature", thus my current collected creature components are still in my inventory)

When I click "I'd like to work on my creature", and the creature changing window comes up, my creature parts are removed from my inventory/backpack/stuff. They appear in my creature creation window, and lets me select, no problems with using the window. However...

- Question 1: When I did click Okay, and then summon my Undead, it still looked the same as always... How do I tell it has changed, or do I jsut assume it has? Reediting my creature shows that the game remembers my choices, but I don't like assuming. (An aside... given the body part's descriptions, the Ghost summon wouldn't be affected by these parts, only the Undead and the Demon summons could be, as they are the only offensive types? just another thought..)

- Question 2: Once the creature parts are no longer in my posession, they are in Naberius' posession... does this mean only he has access to them, or will my Battle Tower Necromancer also have access to them? (If that is the case it would make sense to wait until one has their Battle Tower before one edits the bodily composition of their creature..?)

Now I think about it, same deal for the enchanter who's been taking all my Formulas... :S grrr

[Raze, if you're reading this, thank you for answering my last post about Elder Class Items, most appreciated!]

Any help, again, by anyone, is greatly appreciated.

You need to use the crystal skull in your inventory, or assign it to a hotkey, in order to summon the creature. It is independent of the summoning skills, so you can have the creature and one summon active at the same time.

Any creature parts, potion and enchantment formula that the necromancer, alchemist and enchanter have before you get the battle tower will be available to the respective servants afterwards. There is no need to hold on to any parts or formula until you have the tower.
As long as you have not gotten Naberius to work on your creature, you may want to sort through the parts you have collected, and sell all but the best of each type.

Since you didn't mention the alchemist, the first available is in the starting town in Broken Valley, in the cellar of the miller's house.

1. The Creature look is changing only when you equip different class of head (Archer/Warrior). Changing other body parts affects the Creature's stats: resistance, HP, etc.
2. Creature parts being move in some.. well... in some vessel in another dimension where can be available an any time. I'm no sure if those being transported from Nabreus to your necromancer, but it does not really matter, since you will get MUCH more powerful body parts at that time.

Same applies to formulas.

There are differences in appearance with other body parts, as well.

Kein's right - e.g. a caster head will give you hands, but a warrior's head will have your arms ending in blades.

I'm pretty sure I also noticed that some chest pieces look different regardless of the head. But this only seems to relate to type, not quality, so a 'Well Preserved' piece will look identical to a 'Perfect' piece.

I can confirm that any body parts you 'bank' with a necromancer will be available for all other necromancers. E.g. the necromancer in the FoV expansion had access to my full set of parts from the first time I met him. Unfortunately, once 'banked' you can never get that part back (e.g. to sell once you find a better part). But any further copies of that part you might find will stay in your inventory and you can sell those.

Thanks for all the help. Yes, knew about the alchemist in town too, cheers tho.
As for my other post, about Elder items, I really should post there again as someone was telling me I cant have that stuff at that level, nor any Legendary items, when a Legendary shield dropped for me at level 9...

Link if anyone is interested in that:
