Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks General Luxurius' house

I have killed General Luxurius in his house on Lanilor Lane in Aleroth and freed Anne from her cell, but there is a chest in his private quarters I can't open, and another room downstairs with a magic barrier of some sort that I can't pass.

In his private quarters, I have found two harps that play, a button on the hot tub that dims the lights, and two buttons that I pushed that seemed to do nothing and are now inactive.

How can I get into that room? I figure the key to the chest is in there.

1: In order to unlock that chest you have to have taken Tom's ring finger, shown it to the guard just inside the front door of Luxurious' House, he unlocks the door to the private chamber, you have a nice lil chat with freak-boy, he unlocks the chest, and then you get to kill him.

2: Since you have pressed all 3 buttons in the private chamber the barrier in the house should be down. Its just a bedroom with a chest in it. I dont think there is anything of importance in it though.

Is there anything of importance in the locked chest?

Not that Ive seen. Of course I really only look for good weapons and armor.
