I can't seem to find the entrance to Rivertown, it looks like I need to get there to find the Amulet.

What amulet?

And you can't go to Rivertown, the only thing in Rivertown gorge is Kali's flying fortress. The amulet you want for whatever might be in there.

The entrance to Rivertown Gorge is at the end of the channel south of the harbour. You can walk there, but flying would be better (in D2:ED I tried both, hoping in human form you could get somewhere other than the flying fortress).
