Hey all, just bought this game recently and am really enjoying it, but i need a little help.

I have just killed the last of the bandits for the quest "a hunting we shall go", i have all the pieces needed to verify the kills ( vipers sword, hallorns ring etc.) but Guard captain rodney has decided to vacate the barracks!

i have entered and exited, reloaded saves, checked the tavern and so on but he is not at his usual place (the little desk in the barracks) and cannot find him elsewhere.

Is this a bug or has he moved somewhere else? Any help would be much appreciated,

Two possibilities:

1) Did you rescue Quincy from the tower, but you didn't go to the barracks roof yet.
2) I bet that you also told Captain Rodney about the journal from the farm. He's over there arresting the guy.

Yeah i went up to the roof over and over looking for him, but forgot about the carl's diary quest.
