William gave me the key I jumped out the door but can not find the mine entrance which is suppose to be to the east of the mine behind the goblin encalve. I have killed every goblin in Broken Valley and no hidden door. Where am I not looking?

You can not reach the other mine entrance until after you have the battle tower (you can not get there on foot). Even after you have the battle tower, the item that you need from the mine is for a quest at the end of the D2:ED section of the game, so there is no hurry to get there.
