My character is
Level 34 warrior
str 130
agil 72
int 15
const 52

off 59
def 64

dmg 139-192
arm 181

Now ive done all the main map and have gathered the council together except the elf....which ill do after fully exploring dark woods...however i just met and defeated the wizard (forget his name)in the mines in the Dwarven Halls..BUT it was very close..i had to use a load of sup health and restoration ....is that normal for a level 34 or have i made some mistakes?

my skills are as follows

AXE-maxed out
Augement defence-maxed
Augement dmg- maxed
Stun-maxed

Enchant weapon 3

Lock pick 3

Restoration Maxed

i have 4 skill points to spend still

So what would you guys do with spending skills and exp when i level ,as you know whats to come and after finding it easy untill i met this WIZ its got me worried now that i may get in trouble later(his spike spells really whacked me)

p.s.
i have a lot of 1st level spells from books ive found/bought

p.p.s.
never seen a freeze on an axe yet

Spend a few point in the skill freeze, helps alot when you come against most of the big bosses.

What are your res? Make sure there above 100 before you go to the wastelands.
Have you been to Verdistis yet??

It was his hellspikes, right? Freeze is a good spell or blind--> very good against Josephina <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

At this level i was almost ready to go to wastelands. I think i finished my very first game at this level.

That fight in the dwarven mines is one of the tougher ones. I didn't have too much trouble at a bit higher level, but did need to withdraw into the next room so I didn't have to deal with the dwarves and Moriendor's Hell Spikes at the same time (only a couple dwarves and Moriendor followed me, and were quickly dispatched).

I would hold off on strength for awhile, and start getting your agility up. Check out your offense (chance to hit) and defense (chance to be hit) in your character stats pane (hover the mouse over each for details). The maximum chance to hit is about 95%, while the minimum chance of being hit is something like 20 or 25%.

Being Level 37 / 38 I had the feeling as if the fight against Josephina was much heavier than against Moriendor.

Partly because of Josephina's minions.
