So Lucien is the hero from the first game? We could play a female in that game. I guess the default cannon hero would be a male who is righteous.

There was a pre-rendered FMV that featured a male char afair. So, yeah.

The canon Divine is even a male *warrior*. Guess Larian didn't have the time and/or budget to create six separate FMVs?
