People, I need help.

I am stuck in the battle tower interior, during the what's it name quest. I have killed the master abomination on the third floor and taken the key it dropped.

However, for some reason I can't open the damned cellar door. I have in the inventory the black key, but it doesn't work.

This Is my second character, and I have never encounter this problem before.

Please tell me if this is a bug and if there's a way around it, I've already tried saving a reloading but it's useless.

Did you go down to the basement level? That is where the key is for the door on the second level (also dropped by an abomination).

He's a buggy NPC in the game though, but that's not his fault
