I have serious problems killing Laiken - I am an archer. I always get killed by his minions - even before I can get a proper look at the room, as to where the best strategic spot would be.

What Skills do you have ? And have you still some skillpoints left ? Which Level are you now?
I was level 19 when do that battle .

I started as a Ranger and later on go more and more fro the Priest skilltree & concentrating on magical damage weapons (bow, mace, sword, eetc) and the good thing is now I go also for more Mage skills.

Are you a PURE archer with Dexterity upgraded ?
The minions of Laiken are dealing melee damage and Razakel also + magic damage (I think Fireball or something stronger) ... as a pure archer it's indeed very dangerous !

I fail 3 times trying different strategies ...
The one that succeeded was putting 2 points in "Firewall" and always concentrating on killing Razakel !
But to say: I summoned also my Ghost (5/5) and my Creature (Ranger Head : Fireball L6).

I hope you find a way to kill Razakel ! If Razakel is dead the battle is over !

I killed laikin first try although i am not an archer although what i did was told sosostra to heal me and at lvl 17 (i think) i took damage but did not die and i was surrounded by enemy's pounding away at me and i just spammed magic missile. I play on the Xbox and it was hard to target Razekel But luckily magic missile never misses someone. Although I have very little Melee Protection (thats the most type of damage i received) as i focus on ranged and magic attacks for defense. So since arrows are slightly similar, OHH MOST IMPORTANT i used my CREATURE!

I suggest you try this. Have sosostra heal you. and summon your creature who will target liken i believe although the better target is Razekel as you have already damaged him in the previous battle.

I think if your health is around 200 you choose heal and use your creature and use your most powerful attacks trying to focus them on the demon you should succeed IMO. Although i dont know your stats i believe it is possible depending on how hard of a time you had in the islands in the first place as at the point i was I was able to kill them easily with a ;little strategy

(if all else fails and you just cant do it you can lower your difficulty level and on easy i am confident

Finally I could get to the computer and play Thanks to you all for the suggestions - I ended up finding the V-shaped cornor to the right - and having Sassan healing me, it was over quite quickly. So now I can finally move on!
