minor spoilers

so im nearing the end of Eco Draconis in DKS and am doing the fight scenes with the portals

however I keep getting Way of the Ranger de-buffed off of me it seems to coincide with deodatus pointing at me and getting enveloped in a red glow

I thought deodatus was a good guy so why is he de-buffing me?
and if hes an enemy why cant i attack him?

Im playing on the xbox version so I cant mouse over and see what the debuff is suppossed to do it appears to be 2 red crossed swords with a squiggly symbol underneath them
any pc players know what this is ?

2 red crossed swords? Sounds like battle rage ability. Deodartos (or whatever his name is) casts this every now and again on your character as help, though in your case, it's obviously not helping because you want the Way of the Ranger to stay activated.

yeah that seems to be what the problem is.
I think deodatus needs some better scripting to determine what spells to cast, battle rage is completely useless to me and is actually quite detrimental.

if he cast it on my creature or cast some offensive spells i wouldn't mind but bad buffs are worse than no buffs,
