I was playing two days ago and I had just found Moor and the screen blinked and all the other characters vanished from the game!!!!!!! I flew as a dragon to broken valley and there was no one what so ever. No matter what I try I can't get them back. I even tried to reload a saved game and the characters were gone. Will I have to completely start my game over or is there something I can do? Please help!!!!!!

Not entirely sure what you're describing, but if you're flying 'as a dragon' then Broken Valley is literally 'broken'.... There's no return (apart from a couple of specific quests) - you're now questing in Orobas Fjords.

Get used to it - this won't be the only time in the game that a previous area has become 'wasted' due to the story-line...

EDIT: but if you go back to a save before you gained control of your battle-tower, you'll be able to finish any remaining 'Broken Valley' quests. And the game should have warned you before you hit your first 'point of no return'...

What I am saying is no matter where I go There are no enemies, or characters of any kind whether or not I am in Orabas or flying as a dragon. Think I should restart the game?

OK, that's a bug. Broken Valley should be full of gas and dragons and anti-dragon weapons (but almost all of the previous occupants will be dead).

But if you don't get attacked (with considerable force) after entering Broken Valley again, then contact Larian Support, either via email, or via the 'technical problems' thread - they're always happy to help in my experience.

Try walking back up to Broken Valley from the first Orobas waypoint shrine, and see if there is a guy called 'Crabbe' hiding in the small cave by the campfire - if he isn't there, then you definitely have a bug.

Also you can try clearing your cache. By doing that you can causes the system to restart certain functions that are stored in memory to make the game run smoother. The game will be forced to re install these sections and maybe reset the issue with the missing characters. This does not affect your saved games.

EDIT: This is done easily from your dashboard and going into the settings menu.

@Trip : sorry were walking all over each other, must be the delay from 1/2 way around the planet.
