Can't Install 1.03 Patch for STEAM version

I have first downloaded the patch through the auto update via the Steam\steamapps\common\divinity ii - ego draconis\Autoupdate but couldn't because it gave me this error message "Couldn't identify the installed version of Divinity II - Ego Draconis.
Debug: "ac9ac36e55863346a8de23025619b748"".

But when I tried to install the Divinity_II_Patch_1.03_EIS.exe it also gave me the same error so please is there any patch for STEAM version?

Shouldn't Steam by auto-patched in the first place.
What version does your game says you have?
