Hi,

With dual wielding it's possible to achieved 93% of critical hit so I was thinking that dexterity might be a better choice than intelligence or strength to maximize the damages, what do you think of it?

Possibly - but remember dual wielding doubles your int or str damage bonus (each damage bonus is applied to both weapons). What's more, the character sheet only shows the average damage-per-weapon for dual-wield, so your actual damage is twice what's shown on the character sheet.

But crit increases also apply to both weapons, so if you've already doubled your dual-wield damage (as shown on your character sheet) and it's still less than the crit bonuses, then you should obviously go for the crits...

The two best weapons I've found for this build are the Deodatus hammer and Tiger bite, do you have any other suggestion?

One problem is that you would need to carefully plan your attribute points. There are only about 140 available in the game. You can reduce the number needed by stopping your primary attribute at about 60 or 70 and letting the FoV ultimate set top up your primary to 100. But you will only need to get Heightened Reflexes up to 75. Charms can help as well.

I believe that it's possible to do, but you should keep in mind that you need to plan.

DW is very powerful with any weapons that have at least 2 enchantment slots. Your build can go a few diff ways, and you may get various and conflicting opinions on the subject.

With my last DW char I balanced my stats out (more or less) and by the end of DKS (prior to FoV) he was dealing 761-794+(769-995) DW STATS with Maxos' Mallet and Rakakel's Hmr. Carlin's Mace was a good one to get in the earlier part of the game. But your weapon selection depends on your build. With a balanced char your resistance % will be there as well. With the addition of all potions taken just before a hard fight, you can deal damage in the 1500-3000 range with ea weapon. Stabbey put it best saying you need to plan.

If you want to get your High Refl as high as possible, and that's fine, but you might look at it this way. Getting to that point, is it better to land as much damage as possible with each hit, or to rely on the chance of a crit hit.

So I just beat FOV with this build :

- 100 vitality
- 50 spirit
- 75 strength
- 75 dexterity
- 100 intelligence
- 91% critical rate
- 1100-1500 physical damage and 1100-1300 magical damage unbuff
- 1600 hp and 1300 mp
- 62% / 53% / 65% resistance

Result : I make critical hit 9 times out of 10 and those seems to deal 2.5 times more damage than normal hit on the mobs just before Berlihn tomb (On nightmare and unbuff, I deal 2200 damage on a critical hit while it's just 850 on a normal hit).

Anyone know how critical damage are calculated ?

about critical damage:

critical damage deals 150% damage by default.
heightend refelexes influence the damage you DEAL when you score a critical hit

so the formula is this 150% x the percentage in heightend reflexes
for example if you have 10% heightened refexes then it would be 165% damage

if you have heightend reflexes at 75 you do 263% damage

then there is the chance to score a critical hit how higher the % the more chance you have to score a critical hit.

Did the last patch 'fix' dual-wielding or does enchantment for one weapon still count for the other one as well?

as far as I know enchantments are per weapon. but if you have the same enchantment on both weapons then It adds up ofcourse;)
