hey!

how does kitty the cat figure-in in the game? and what's with the sword(?) (the one with red handle) in the catacombs and outside the fenced village of aleroth?

i'm asking cuz i lost kitty somewhere, i don't exactly know where, in the catacombs i think. and the sword cuz my character made mention of it "being familiar" when i was exploring the perimeters of aleroth.

The sword your character says seems familiar is the one from the intro video (remember Joram saying he could not bring your stuff back?). The cat is also the one in the video; don't know where it got to, though.

My personal view is that Kitty is not the cat which saved the Character's life by reporting to Joram - personally, I think it would make much more sense it it has been Arhu. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I thought there was a discussion about that, and after comparing fur colour, etc. it was decided that it wasn't Arhu. Or did I get that backwards?

I never see this sword before.

its a different cat, the fur color is wrong.

Check the avatars. The cat that saved you had white fur, a blue left eye and a brown right eye.

That would be Arhu. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> He teleports so it's very conceivable that he left Aleroth to find Zandalor and asked another kitty to be your guardian. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

I just wonder how that sword could have gotten into the Catacombs. Is that to suggest that another adventurer (why do they call them freebooters in this game?) had stumbled into the Catacombs and landed in the same fate that the main character would have gotten into had he not been saved by the cat?
