Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance No dialogue to kill Mysus

I have the quest as active, I've killed the other two, but when I talk to Mysus, there's no option to fight. I can only trade or leave. Bug, or have I accidently made this part of the quest unavailable somehow?

On an unrelated note, after having my heart utterly broken by Dragon Age 2, it certainly was nice to return to Divinty 2 with Flames of Vengence to find that it hadn't changed out of all recognition, and was still the same fun game that I enjoyed so much with Ego Draconis. Yay, Larian!

i think you need to read the bounty board to register Mysus as "quest target" then talk to him and tell him you're gonna take his head in for a reward...

have you just tried attacking everyone in there?

I read the bounty board. I even tried again. Guess I'll go back and try a third time. Attacking them doesn't work. They completely ignore it and it has no effect, other than to destroy the containers around them.

My experience too.
I found him before the board, so no killing. But after reading up on the quest I got an option to threatnen him and they all attacked.

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I did that, but maybe not sufficiently or in the right place. I've moved onto the endgame, for this time, but it's good to know for future reference.
