is there any way to reset your stats like with the unlearn skills?

No. You can use charms and equipment bonuses to augment any stats you may have neglected.

What level are you? If you just got the battle tower you may be able to change how you distribute stat points as you level, but late in the game it would be harder to make a huge change in character build. You may still be able to make an effective build, though, even without an optimal stat distribution.

Playing an archer in DKS I stopped assigning stat points after level 15, and have almost 100 unused points at the end of the D2:ED section of the game. I forget when I stopped assigning stat points in D2:ED, but at the end of the game (level 36) my duel wielding strength based warrior had 39 unused stat points.

yea i was doing str dual warrior, I never read anything before hand and im level 20. After i got the battle tower and the unlearn skills I thought hey lets try an archer or a mage but I have 40 in Vit and 40 in Str and 4 in the others. So I might just start over I know from looking at the forums i missed a ton of skill and stat books.

Another 4 or 5 levels (which actually doesn't take long at the start of the fjords) and you should be able to boost dexterity enough for a decent bow. A mage can get a fair amount of mana from enchantments, but the regeneration rate isn't going to be great with a low intelligence (potions could help with that, and ingredients are easy to get once you have the battle tower).
In DKS the stat requirements were removed from equipment, so that lowers the barrier for switching playstyles.

If you do decide to start over, and want the greatest flexibility, focus on intelligence. There are magic based bows and melee weapons that take advantage of that stat, so you can more easily switch between or mix classes.
In D2:ED I focused on strength for my warrior, but boosted dexterity and intelligence a bit for the associated resistances. In DKS playing a ranger I focused on dexterity and have not put anything into intelligence (in a couple places stun arrows were a bit of a pain, though), but did boost strength a little (used some unarmed melee at the start, and strength helps your healing rate).

So: warrior, mage or archer?

Anyone help a newb with Warrior build ... ??? - DKS topic, so there are some minor changes from D2:ED, discussing warriors and a bit on rangers
