Hi Guys

I'd like to buy the game at the steam offer badly, but I'm a bit shy since I read that there's something with securom and that you have "only" 5 activations(reinstallations etc.) at all.

Will this activations be restocked once I uninstall this game from my pc? And what if my pc crashes in a (huge! smile ) explosion, will there be a support that restocks it for me?

Basically my only problem is that I would dislike that I have paid for a game and it doesn't allow me to play it anymore at some point in the future.

I'd appreciate it a lot if you guys could inform me soon that I still (hopefully!) can buy the game and join you.

Thanks!

You should have 5 activations for your copy of Dragon Knight Saga and we can always help you if there should be lost activations or any other securom related problems, such as an unrecoverable system crash.

And yes, as far as I know, that means 5 activations per set of hardware (really different pc's). You get an activation back when you uninstall the game. The uninstaller specifically asks for this.

If there ever are any problems with your activations or securom in general, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our support usually answers within 24 hours, although not during weekends.

If you are not online when you uninstall, or you reformat the disk without uninstalling, or something, Securom also has a website form where you can manually revoke an activation.

Larian's previous games are on Good Old Games with no copy protection (and even with the disk versions the last patch for Beyond Divinity removed the copy protection, and Divine Divinity only needs the disk to play a couple cutscene videos).
They did say that eventually the copy protection would be removed from Divinity 2, as well.
