I cannot believe I was unable to find an answer after 15 minutes of searching, so I thought I'd ask here.

Anyone know the average play time in hours of DKS? I mean just an average game, no power leveling or mining crap, just exploring, questing and killing. I know this sounds strange, but I was burned recently by Two Worlds 2; I finished it in under 15 hours, and that was with taking my time and doing every quest. A complete disappointment since pre-release buzz set it nearer the 50 hour mark, but we know now the devs were including multiplayer for some reason.

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure I don't get invested in the world and story and then be done in 15-20 hours, especially after seeing how few areas there are in Div2.

Playtime should be about 60 to 100 hours (Anyone Played For 100 Hours?). In the original release just the D2:ED section of the game took me 75 hours, exploring everywhere and doing all the quests. IIRC Larian's official (conservative) estimate was 40 hours for D2:ED and 20 for FoV.

Thanks. That's great to hear, though I wonder how much of that time is split between searching for quests and wishing for a quest marker.

I never had to specifically search for any quest solutions in D2:ED; they are easy enough to find if you just explore everywhere.

I typically do everything I can in my playthroughs. This takes me close to 60 hours. And this is KNOWING where the stuff is.

Plus there are multiple quest solutions, so many that you'd basically have to play the entire game twice to see them all.

I don't recall having too much trouble finding the Lost Tomb in D2:ED... certainly not anything that would be significant compared to the total play time, anyway.

Thanks. It's been a while since I played a game that basically forces you to explore everywhere.

Stabbey, I have enjoyed your LPs on SA.
