This was a discussion a while ago that I'm finally officially asking the devs for information on.

I've noticed when playing both ED and DKS that most unique equipment (with a gold name in DKS) have pre-determined stats, even if you restart the game on a completely different profile. These stats are listed in my guides for both games.

Some such items DO have randomized stats, such as the Cuirass of Jurak in both games, or the Wishing Well bracelets. But most don't.

I'm playing the NA release of the Xbox 360 version. However, other people have mentioned that the stats I have listed aren't true for their games, and to my knowledge, they are in different regions and/or play the PC version.

For instance, my Amulet of Slantwig gives Wisdom +1. But Joram reported his gave Rush Attack +1. Similarly, I've heard that Lord Lovis' Pendant and Jagon's Necklace gave different stats than the mine did (LL's gave +1 to Fireball and Jagon's gave +1 to Mindread on top of their usual skill boost).

However, Raze, who is also playing the NA Xbox 360 release, reports that all of my unique items' stats match the ones he's found in his game.

So, my questions are thus:
Do the unique items' stats differ based on region and/or platform the person is playing on?
How are the stats of these items determined? Is there some randomizing factor that operates on such a high level that all people on the same platform will have the same item stats? Or are all of these stats developer-set, and for some reason, were changed for the 360 release? Or some combination of both, where the devs had the stats randomly generated, but then hard-coded them into the game, and for some reason changed them between versions?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated. This has been baffling me for a while, and renders my guide slightly less useful for those who aren't playing the 360 version.
