Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Wondering if my game has a bug

Hello,
I am playing the Dragon Knight Saga version. When I enter the Maxos temple, the wizard rewards me for finishing the paper trail quest. Upon walking forward and activating the book on the pedestal, the new quest "dragon no more" does not activate. Therefore I cannot continue on in the game.
I have restarted multiple times, wrapped up any other open quests, nothing works.
Is this a bug? Does this mean I have to restart the game?
are there any ways to fix the main quest not updating?

There is no bug; you just need to keep going in the temple.

and yet i come back again with another newbie question about destroying generators - any ideas?
