There's a teleporter near Lovis Tower, slightly north of it if I recall correctly. It's not a shrine, but a teleporter pad similar to the one you use to reach Naberius's storage. It asks for a password, but I can't seem to find it, and I've mindread almost everyone I've met in the entire BV area. Anyone know how to activate this and if so where does it take you to?

Collect the indecipherable scrolls lying around Broken Valley and let the Imp before Maxos' temple translate them.

When you get ZixZax to translate the 4 parchments to get the password, it should allow you to use both teleporters (the one to Naberius' storage and the one by Lovis' tower).

That teleporter takes you to the top level of Lovis' tower, where you can find a chest. I left that until I was level 18 (having done pretty much everything in Broken Valley and a bit of the fjords) and got an amulet suitable for my ranger (+2 Explosive Arrows, +5 Dexterity, 2 charm slots and 1 enchantment slot).

After you take over the battle tower you can reach that area without needing the teleporter, but the chest will be gone.

Try talking to ZixZax again and go through any speech options about the 4 parchment scrolls, if available. Try using the other teleporter again.

Maybe enter a building and leave (or take the mountain path to the far south west in Broken Valley to the fjords - the start of that area is safe), to see if getting the game to reload the area will get the teleporter to recognize that you have the password.

Ah, thank you, both for the response and the welcome. I've actually already moved past the point where I can use it, but I'm relieved to learn I haven't missed anything unique. The completion freak in me is clamouring for me to start over just to say I opened it, but I've already started over 3 times as I've figured out the exp system and how to properly milk it. I don't think a 4th restart is needed for one chest of random items. BTW, I think I've seen your name in the "thank you" portion of every FAQ I've read so far, so I guess you know your stuff. I'll just assume you're right here, and get that one on my second play of this outstanding game.

Actually, inside the storage, reached by the first teleporter, is a set piece IIRC.

there is another Teleporter near the Burned Chapel waypoint Shrine, but to get into the vault there, you need to mindread the Necormancer underneath- as it's his Vault.

Yea, the one by the chapel is Naberius's Storage, and that does have a set piece, which thankfully I got. I just never went back for the other one. Should have figured the thing that opened one would open the other. Oh well.

Both teleporters become active when you know the password, only becomes inaccessible when you acquire the BattleTower.
