Hey im in stones flying fortress and stone keeps owning me in that small room where you first see him while he's surrounded by his minions, this is my dw build, anything i can improve to beat this guy?

what am i doing wrong?

Too much points in vitality, not enough in strength and intelligence.

Healing skill = useless. More than 5 points in regenerate = useless. Reflect = useless.

I'd put more points in Bleed instead, and max out Whirlwind. Also, put one point in Mana leech.

so i have to start over becuz my stats suck?

i guess i could just look for a bunch of strength gems though

Your strength should be good enough. For a boss fight you can also use temporary stat/armour boost potions.

how to defeat stone? - D2:ED topic, so a couple comments about the fortresses do not apply in DKS


Have you checked merchants for better equipment?

You could visit your battle tower to see if you can upgrade some enchantments, etc.

If you are going to be using magic based weapons, you should boost intelligence more, otherwise stick to conventional weapons.

No. You can go to the trainer at the Tower, and for 5000 gold (the first time, doubles every time
thereafter) you can re-allocate your skills. Your stats don't look that bad for a warrior.

That looks good. I never bothered with Fatality playing a warrior in D2:ED, but some people like it.

A level or more of Life Leech would probably help, when you have skill points not destined for offensive skills. I learned a level of Mana Leech, but didn't end up using Thousand Strikes, so didn't have any problems with my mana regeneration rate.

Level 1 of Healing is helpful, IMO, though not essential once you have the battle tower and access to essentially unlimited potions (though in tough fights you can use the spell and a potion one after the other).

hmm i got that build and i beat stone but it seems like im dying too easily tho
