well iv never been to much into the turned based type, however i dont know what it always means(is it like this,i move then u move then i move then u move then i attack you, then u attack me. or is like this,i move then u move then i land in your spot and we can controll our dragon and fly around freely or is it something like adventure quest and all those other games like that)?

I think when you use the tactical map and position troops against the enemy, it may be turned based but when you enter battle, it becomes real time by the looks of it.

I agree with demonic. I think that is how turn based will be implemented in the game. I personally dislike turn based strategy but I'm hoping the rest of the game's RPG / action features will make up for it. Going by the blurb, I think it will.

How I see, system will be similar to total war games, turn based strategy map and real time battles.

I don't mind turn-based for some parts, but if I'm contolling a dragon in a sky battle, I definitely want that part to be in real-time.

eh i like to be able to go anywhere freely while fighting, gives more options and stratigy while fighting becouse most turned based fighting there isnt much of a way to dodge, miss, block ect attacks without luck while games like DKS,oblivion, and some fps i guess just depends on your skill with the style

From what I read here, the game map is turn based, the combat is real-time "Take command Build vast armies and lead them into spectacular real-time combat. Conquer the vast world of the Divinity universe, and see your dominion spread over the tactical map. "
