The runners are in the throne room of your battle tower, once you have taken it over (along one of the walls, near where you teleport to using the dragon stone).

Check your alchemist (after you equip any jewellery you may have with a Master Herbalist bonus), and see what ingredients you need for the strongest healing potion you can make, then send the herb runner for it/them. You can ignore the other two, or sent them out for any minerals/gems you may need, or diamonds and malachite ore to sell.

Runners and Tower ?

Level 1 of the Healing spell would help you conserve potions. If you have skill points you don't know what to do with you could invest in potion efficiency, but I never bothered with it (except in my first game before getting the battle tower). Some people like the ghost summon, which can heal (though not necessarily exactly when you want it to) or use a fireball attack.

IF you go for Summon Ghost he's most helpful if you :
1) upgrade him (the skill level) if the required level is reached to upgrade him
2) before starting a battle, turn around, Summon the Ghost and turn back facing the enemies SO the Ghost is at your back (so you protect him in the first place, so he has TIME to Heal you wink - especially in close area's (a coridor or something like that) this strategy is worth the effort !
3) Look at your Summoned Ghost and if an enemy attack him, attack THAT enemy to defend your Ghost!
4) A combination of Skills is also helpful: Summon Ghost and Charm ! So with Charm you can just charm that enemy who attack your Ghost and the tide of a heavy battle can fast switched in your advantage ! biggrin
5) And the combination with your Creature that has a Ghoulish Head (Rush Attack & Fatality) is very nnice! If you've the luck you Creature is smashing down those enemies that attack your Ghost !
But I still must try a Goblin Head (Fireball) to see what it does together with my Ghosty Ghost wink

The Healing spell is very nice. Take at least 1 point in this skill, always. I take more than 1 point, but that's me.
Note : you can use Hide in Shadows to become invisible and while invisible you can use the Healing skill and you remains invisible! smile .. or you can use Hide in Shadows or run far away if you can and use a healing potion, that's up to you wink

On 7th of february 2015 : I start a new adventure in the Divinity world of Original Sin,
it's a Fantastic Freaking Fabulous Funny ... it's my All Time Favorite One !
