Almost a year ago, we've finished the translation of Ego Draconis and to our big surprise, it was downloaded more than 15.000 times. Sadly SecuROM managed to botch the chance to work with the original one. But this is not the point.
We've nearly finished the translation for DKS as well, we've got a tool to extract and repack the files from and to .dv2 files and it also works with the original game!
The only problem we are having is that our Hungarian characters (á, é, ö, ú, etc.) are showing up as white squares ingame. I tried it with both ANSI and UTF-8 without BOM coding (as in Ego Draconis), but with UTF-8 the game won't even start. We've never had this problem with Ego Draconis.
Hopefully someone can help us overcome this small obstacle. Since DKS is like 10-12 dollars here, a lot of people would buy it, if we manage to get this problem out of the way (based on the feedback we've had since).
