I know, there're already topics with suggestions, but is this forum place not the best place to give suggestions? I think yes, it is!

Reading the article in the Gameplay magazine, I read that the Larian Team is really trying out many ways and if an idea failed, they simply trow it out of the Dragon Commander Window ! :hihi:

I must say: that is really courageous to do it that way and don't stop investing time & efforts to find new creative ideas !!

Maybe or perhaps I have at some day (in the near future?) a dream about a new Dragon Commander feature and post it here ... and Farhang Namdar & many other talented guys try it out ... and it works ... maybe or perhaps, ...and my idea 'flow flow flow' ... into a game hahaha

Now serious ... her is coming a suggestion (see under 3) ):

What if your Units are destroyed?
1) then you must go to the Raven and pay new ones?
2) or they're again automatically added ?

3) I suggest 2), but
a) each Unit loose an ability after destroyed, but your generals (if you've some) can 'magical' transport one of his/her skills to the weaker Unit(s) ...
b) or your Dragon can give a skill to a Unit? I don't know which skills the Dragon can have at his/her disposal?

I think with "1)" the game can become a little bit frustrating, maybe? Loosing the Units and you must go back each time to the Raven to buy new Units ? But I don't know how difficult the DC will be and how many difficulty scalings would plop up after the release? (casual, easy, normal, hard, nightmare, ... ?)

More suggestions can follow later on ... first I must read the article a hundred times over and over wink ...
...a have a Dream about ... Dragons ... Jetpacks ... and some creative new ideas ! biggrin
... maybe ... or perhaps !

If units are destroyed...

Well, my suggestions would be:

1) Each turn, units replenish based on the territories you control. So if you control territory X, it will supply Y number of unit type W each turn up to a maximum of Z. This means that taking huge losses is not instantly fatal, but neither does it mean that you can bounce back instantly. Possibly this process can be sped up by spending money on developing the territories that provide your preferred troop types.

2) Cards. Apparently, players will get to play cards that will transfer bonuses and stuff in battle. Assuming players can only play a limited number of cards a turn, it would not be inappropriate to have 'healing' cards. Players can then choose to use a card to replenish their numbers, but must then forego some specific battle advantage or something along those lines (because they can only play so many cards in a single turn).
