Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga Save game (xbox 360)?

Not sure what happened but recently my xbox profile got corrupted, and because of that (im guessing), i have lost my saves for this game ,does anyone have 1 i could use please as i really don't want to have to start again from scratch, i don't mind how far into the game you are too much (as long as its not right at the start or end! lol), and i'd really appreciate it.

I not 100% sure if theres anything that anyone can do the game saves are set to your profile so even if someone had one to give you I doubt they'd work. Whenever my xbox plays up & randomley signs my out it kicks me out of my game saying that the gamer tag has changed & that the game is nolonger available untill the gamertag is signed in again. Same go's for the other gamer tags I have on my xbox, I can't play games assigned to another acount.

Unless someone else hear can tell you a way around it then the only thing I can tell you is that you'll have to start again. If your gamertag itself is corrupt then you'll have to contact microsoft customer support to see what they can do otherwise you might have to create another profile. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Since this game is really that great, in my eyes it's most simple to start a brand new game.
Okay, it's sadly your xbox profile got corrupted, but I ask myself: "How can that been happen?" Corrupted? Strange !
Try first to make a second profile and try if you can set that new profile as your default one so you can play further on with all your saved game slots. If that not work, try to contact Microsoft service and see how that work ?

Otherwise I think you can give some more info about your Xbox version (in which country do you live? - because there's a difference between the Xbox (& games)in Europe and out of Europe !
I live in Europe and for example someone in America CAN'T do anything with my Xbox savegames !
PLUS : have you the very first version (Ego Draconis) or the remastered version DKS => The Dragon Knight Saga (= Ego Draconsi + Flames of Vengeance, together on 1 disc for your Xbox)

Somewhere on this forum someone of the devs of Larian give info about "How to send a Xbox savegame via a computer" ... (that was needed for helping people with a bug in their Xbox savegame)
Via that way, maybe someone can help you to send you a savegame.

I don't know how far you was in DKS? I've a savegame at L19, so that's good if you wish to go fast to the Battle Tower and kill Laiken

thanks guys! the version i was playing was DKS(u.k. version), but its ok now i just started again, seemed the easiest thing to do. i also re-installed DKS (Steam version) onto my pc too. love this game!

It's always fine to see new members are coming and love to play a Divinity game .
and if you like the style of rpg Larian Studios make, try Divine Divinity (via GOG on steam) if you haven't played that game, it's Larian's first Masterpiece and now with Divinity II DKS their second, that's for sure MY conclusion

Thanks to the DKS I learn new things and dare to go to new unprecedented grounds (via "try & error"). The nice skill system is an example of the way I take skills I never dare to use in the past, for a unknown(?) reason ...

And so I discovered I love most of the skills and the way I kill enemies : I like the bow, I like magic, I like kill up close and personal ... and I like all the Priest skills so much !!!
It's really fun for me to play with a Priest build & so much more fun if I combine Priest skills with a few skills of other classes (for example : Rush Attack, Thousand Strikes, Ranger Stealth, Stun Arrows, ... Magic Missile, Firewall, Healing, ... )

I can go on and on to tell everybody about DKS ... but then I've no time anymore to PLAY this fantasit game
