I was wondering around the woods near the barracks and came across a skeleton (not a walking skeleton, just an inanimate one) with an amulet and a cutlass and a sheild, the amulet had the description, Dark Elf Amulet; To My Best Friend C.B., is this of any importance or just another item?

It's an easter egg referring to Drizzt the Dark Elf (from a D&D Forgotten Realms book) and his friend, or lover, or whatever you will call her <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Cattie Brie. You can keep the amulet or sell it. There is no quest or extra value associated with this amulet.
