Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Confused about Divine Spells

I’ve cleared out all of the dry land areas of the wasteland. I got the first point of Spirit Form from the dragon.

1) I can’t fight when I cast Spitir Form. I want to clear out all of the undead in the swamp, but they are green to me in spirit form. Is there any way to fight them?

2) My rep drops top zero when I cast the Spirit Form spell. Does this matter?

3) I can make it to an island in the SW corner of the map. I go out of spirit form to fight the baddies and everything is cool. However, if my toe touches the water, I die immediately. All of my resistances are well over 100. Why does this happen?

4) It looks like the game is set up where you are supposed to cast Spirit Form and dash to the red flag on the map. I’d like to map out the swamp and see if there are any goodies out there. Is this pointless? It doesn’t seem like it’s worth the hassle.

5) I have 8 skill points to spend, and since the divine spells just became available I figure that’s where I want to spend them. I’ve been playing a warrior the whole game, and I’d like to pick something that I will use. The time stop spell looks to be the most useful. Before I dump all of my points into this skill, I’d like some feedback as to its usefulness.

Sorry for the tons of questions. I think I’m getting close to finishing, and I don’t want to blow it at the end!

No, you can't fight in spirit form.
No, it doesn' t matter
As soon as you touch the water, you will die. There is nothing you can do about it, just don't touch it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
As far as i know, there is nothing in the swamp, but as above, touch it and you die, and i don't think you would have time anyway...
I never used that spell, but i like divine death, though you don't get any XP when you use it...

Thanks for the info, Carrie. It looks like I'll just make a dash for the red flag.

I'm torn as to which design skill I'll use. I'm going to hang onto my poits until later, and make my decistion once I get into the Black Ring area.
