Level 30, and I'm having a hard time beating Sassan in "Halls of Echoes". After taking out the 2 soldiers, Sassan shoots me with 2 powerful blast and I'm dead. I tried over and over with different strategy and it seem like i can't get away from her blast. Am i suppose to use something or maybe is it a glitch?

First of all a warm welcome to the forum

Have you a save game from before entering the Hall of Echoes?

Level 30 seems to me a little bit low ? ..
(I was at least level 34 when I first entered the Hall of Echoes)

But you can try this:
First summon your creature or another summoned ally (Ghost, undead or Demon), then use Hide in Shadows (1 point is already very useful) and run to Sassan with a melee weapon!

Enemies who use in the first place magic or a bow are weaker with a melee weapon.

And if you have free skillpoints or already invested in the skill "Charm" (or Blind), give it a go and Charm (or Blind) one of the soldiers who's helping Sassan ! This can fast change a battle

And yes!! Lucky me, i did make a save-point before entering "Halls of Echoes". So much thanks for your early reply. And thanks for the strategy tip, i be sure trying using 'em the next I'll face her!!
I'm going to level up a little bit more now!!!

BTW, are you also playing this?? If so, are you playing this on STEAM??

Currently I'm playing another rpg, but DKS can't flee from my Mind, so sooner of later I player further on with my hero, the Ranger Priest

But I play on xbox, so no steam.

And my pc isn't heavy enough for playing the last new games since a few years ... maybe I ever buy a brand new pc, but I wait as long as possible ... and my money is not that big at the moment ... trying to spend all the goldcoints from my hero in DKS, but they say I need "euro's" ... ppffff ....

LIke Joram said people who use magic and ranged weapons tend to be weaker with a melee weapon so if you have some spare skill points maybe you could put it on rush attack so that you can get close quickly without getting hit by the magic blasts

plus i find that using my creature or summoning a demon useful in fights like the one your having

For me the Priest Skills are the BEST !!

Never see such funny to use and outstanding skills in a RPG !! I really hope Larian give the Priest Skill also in Divinity III a go !!

And the rest of the other skills are also very very good !

I know this is an old thread but level 30 is pretty low to enter the hall of echoes. Wondering if you explored the several flying fortresses in Orobas Fjords. Many enemies and chests in those fortresses. Evil Sassan is easier than the others that come later.
