I bought weapons and armor for all three of my runners from my Trainer and Enchanter, but when I send them out all three of them complaining about having no armor. Is there something extra I need to do? They're all wearing the armor and swords I bought but they keep saying they have none...

It also seems to make them fail their missions.

There are 3 levels of equipment you can get for the runners. After that they will still fail occasionally, but should succeed the majority of the time.


Runners and Tower ?

Very low success rate with Fanny Blossom?

I mean they literally say things like "In these rags?!" and "With no armor?!" when I tell them to go do a mission, while they're standing there in the armor I bought...

I think I only tried to send any of the runners out at most a couple times with less than full equipment, and don't recall any complaints. In D2:ED I had enough gold to fully upgrade them all as soon as I took over the battle tower; in DKS I had enough to upgrade one runner (with the second or third level of equipment), and send him out to get stuff to sell to upgrade the next.
