I have recently completed DKS and I just feel the urge to say how much I've enjoyed the experience.

There are some things I don't like; things that made DKS not one of my favourite RPGs of all time, but the overall feeling has been extremely positive.

The first part -Ego Draconis- has numerous flaws, but at the end it felt as an epic adventure. Flames of Vengeance, though, is a masterpiece. Playing both in sequence gives a gameplay-rpg experience far superior to almost every RPG out there.

I sincerely hope yopu keep this good work, since lately the genre seems to be fading into some kind of Beyond-the-call-of-honour dragon-boobs-awesomeness thing. So, again, thank you; DKS is the best game I've played in the last two years.

Larian is currently working on the sequel to Divinity 2, but not much is known about it yet (it will have a top down camera view, and finish off the story arc of Divine Divinity, Beyond Divinity and Divinity 2). More details should be released by the time Dragon Commander is out.

I'm going to second this statement. This is easily the most impressive 'console' action rpg I ever played. Miles ahead of the competition. Never heard of Larian until this game. Now I'm a fan and am anticipating the sequel. Thank you.

And the very good thing is that you can play Ego Draconis part & Flames of Vengeance part in One trip from Level 1 to ... the end of FoV ...
OR .. you can only play Flames of Vengeance and start at Level 35 smile

FoV is indeed a really fantastic masterpiece !! The NPC's, Quests, Trading & music is even better than the Ego Draconis part !
But since I'm in love with Locke, Derk, Carlin, Lamotte, Zarnyjar, Pilcher, etc ... (me, Ronja the Ranger Priest) ... I'm in love with the Ego Draconis part for once and for always !!

On 7th of february 2015 : I start a new adventure in the Divinity world of Original Sin,
it's a Fantastic Freaking Fabulous Funny ... it's my All Time Favorite One !

Ego Draconis is supberb, yes... but I always felt that lacked better cities or towns. Since FoV provided precisely this, I quickly fell in love for the expansion ^_^

When I was playing the main game, I always had the hope for a city like Veridistis; so, think of my disappointment when I saw ""Rivertown"" and Aleroth. Anyway, the main game had many other great elements to compesate this ^_^

FoV was originally going to include a Broken Valley type area, but it was dropped due to lack of resources. Like you, Larian thought the game overall needed more of a human hub of activity, so that is what they focused on.

I was hoping Rivertown Gorge would be more than just a flying fortress, as well (though other than that didn't have a problem with the number or size of human settlements). I even tried entering the gorge on foot, rather than flying, to see if you could continue and get anywhere that way (and quickly had to transform before I fell far enough to die).
