In the Old Mine where you find Naberius there is a piano. When I near it the curser lights up over it. But no amount of right clicking has a result. Is this a bug? Or does the piano become useful later? Or should I do something else to activate it?
The piano doesn't do anything, it is just there for atmosphere. There are musical instruments in the game that will play a few notes when selected, though (and in one case something more).
I really hope Larian put in Divinity III something like this, but this time you can use the piano so you can at least HEAR a piano play of Kirill Pokrovsky's beautiful sounds !
Only in the Flames of Vengeance part their is a nice example with a instrument that give sounds and more .... and now I shut my mount before I say everything of that little secret !

Yes, I spent some time experimenting with those. Even if it does not do anything, it adds to the atmosphere ^_^
A nice touch the "secret" with instruments in FoV. Secondary quests and secrets in Aleroth... ha, it made me recall the secrets from the first Divinity.
Yeah, in some way many things in FoV part reminds me of DD !
For me the whole Divinity II game may be like FoV part and we have a newborn DD in 3D
Or give it a go for Divinity III ... kind 'Librarian' ... er ... sorry ... ...
