Is there a concrete way to figure out how many hours were spent playing DD? (besides me keeping track manually of course).

iirc it says on your savegame how many hrs and minutes...

Ummm, I see the date. Then I see other numbers... but they do not equal hours played. I have a variety of save games. 00.54.02 - 17.45.04. And the numbers go on and on. Even amongst save games that are close together in real time have numbers like those I listed that don't make sense. Since it seems so easy, explain to me please. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The load screen just lists the date and time of the save, not the cumulative playing time.

Does anyone know off-hand how game time relates to real time? The game date of your last conversation in the log would at least give you a rough idea of time played.

Leaving the game running for 25 minutes, just over 14 hours passed in the game. This works out to about 42.5 real minutes per game day. Multiplying the number of game days by 0.7 should give you a rough idea of the number of hours played (this counts time you slept in the game, but does not count playing time where you re-loaded to try quests different ways, etc).
