Larian Studios Forums General Chat D:OS and DC preorders

Apologies in advance for what is likely a FAQ but is Larian going to offer pre-orders for the two upcoming games, and if so, when is that expected?

I would love to buy both asap, in the Kickstarter spirit that increasingly pervades 2012.

The release estimates are Q1 and Q2 of next year, so if there will be pre-orders (there were for some releases of D2:ED and DKS), I wouldn't expect them until an actual date is set and distribution organized (Larian already has distributors in a couple regions, at least).

So Dragon Commander will not be released in 2012 ?

No, Lar recently said (here) "...we want to ship it early in 2013..." when posting about the possibility of a console version of Dragon Commander (ie possible, but unconfirmed, and if financing is secured it would be unlikely to ship the same time as the PC/Mac versions).

I hope Dragon Commander is SO fantastic strong, beautiful & very fun to play game !
Otherwise I'm a little bit afraid DC slumbering out of a gamers mind because of other games,
especially because of Divnity : Original Sin !

But IF DC is coming on Xbox they've on this moment already 1 big big fan of Dragon Commander for a very loooooong time !!

Many thanks. I am just finishing off ED and about to play FoV, and cannot wait for the others to be released. Based on the richness of DKS, I am actually pleasantly surprised both are expected within 12 months (more or less) from now.
