Hello, I just bought Divine Divinity a couple of days ago and I must say...it's becoming one of my favorite cRPGs. But I have a question about the Performance Option section of the game.

What exactly do most of those things do? Like Ztunnel, 3D Shadows, and Fog.

Also, what gamma and brightness settings do you recommend for the best presentation of the game? I here it's good to keep the gamma a bit high, so you can see levers and stuff. Is this true?

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure exactly what the graphics options do.
It depends on your monitor settings what gamma value you should use. If you can see clearly in caves or at night, and it is not too bright outdoors in the day, then you don't need to adjust the gamma. In my case I have it set to 1.25, or so (with the darkness setting at 50 to increase the size of the light radius around the character).

Well the fog is just for added effects.. with it on, it creates a white mist in some locations. It's not essential but just adds to the atmosphere of the game. Not sure about zTunnel.. it might have made more sense in 2002 smile hehe.. as for the 3D shadows.. I've not really played the game enough to know if there's a difference without it turned on.. but I have it turned on.
