You'd need a lot of cats to make a full cloak, though.

That's true, and lions would make a much more impressive cloak. The only cats we've see so far around Rivellon are the domesticated kind, though.

The only item combo with CAT that I can think of has no gameplay value.

I do not love those creatures and I also find my idea fun so I would enjoy twice more
Collecting cats' skin when we kill this pets during the adventure in order to combine them to make a cloak could be a really funny quest^^
