Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Scrolling Map Problem

Hello everybody,

I have the english version of DD and I am using a PIV with XP Prof. In the
first catacombs I have problem with the map scrolling. Some times, when I
move the mouse cursor to the left, right or top the map is scrolling SO FAST
that I am loosing the focus on my character. Moreover, it is difficult to
scroll down since the menu whish resided at the bottom of the screen prevents
me.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Disable the capslock key, and the screen focus will remain centered on your character. You can use the shift key to switch back to the mouse cursor moving the focus, when you want to see more that half a screen from your character.

Thanks Raze. It is OK now.
However, when pressing the SHIFT button in order to look around,
the scrolling speed is at the speed of light!
