Hello, everyone,

I just finished reading through the Anthology's DEvelopment Diary ... And I noticed that there is at least 1 loose thread amidst the story-landscape of Rivellon and the Divinity Universe :

What became of the Raanaar ?

I had always hoped to see them in Divinity 2 gain, or at lest that they might find some refuge and shelter in other parts of Rivellon ... I really miss their looks.

That's what I was thinking of right now. I wonder if thre were some more loose threads ...

So, my suggestion for future games is : Look into the stories and the NPCs and look for holes and for loose threads and bind them together ! People re usually quite confused when they see riddles ot being solved ... (Like that I still do not quite understand the massive change of the landscape from to , even although it was actually explained somewhere ...)

That's what i was thinking for now.

Never mind the Raanaar, there are already like 5 other races from Divinity 1 that were complete non-entities in the human-fest Divinity 2. Work on having those guys show up first, then we can talk about the Raanaar.

If I remember correctly, the Raanaar are only present in the Purgatory/Hell dimension and by the end of Beyond, they appear to be all dead.

Yeah, that too, although I think some of them did use their rift-running ability to flee/evacuate to other dimensions. There were a group of rebels left near the temple of Raan, but not many and Damian might have sent word back somehow to eradicate them.
