So, larian, you stated you would release a (the?) game editor for Original Sin.

I happen to have a P&P campain I couldn't play, and I intend to make it using D:OS map editor. So when will you release the game editor ? Before, at the same time, or after D:OS release ?

Have you already thought on how we could get access to what other people did (and release our work) ?
Will you do some pre-checking of sorts to verify there is no hidden virus or offensive content ?

If there is a common platform for releasing stuff, can you have trouble if some of the content is offensive/illegal ?

IIRC the editor is being released with the game. Last we heard Steamworks would be used for distributing player made mods, though if there is any kind of content restrictions due to that, an alternate download site could be used (it just wouldn't get as much exposure as mods from the official source). Practically, I don't think pre-checking for offensive content would be reasonable (nobody is going to pay to have their free mod 'certified'), so there will likely just be some kind of user rating and feedback system. If there is adult content or potentially offensive material included, I'm sure most people would mention that upfront, anyway.
