I'm not sure what the problem was, but the save worked fine here (the second try, anyway). In the disk version of the game I first found one of my old saves before finishing the fifth council member quest I did, finished and saved before scrying, figuring that would be needed to test and hopefully fix your save. After that I scryed for the dwarf council member, which invoked a comment from the character "Hmmm... I wonder what that big thing in the distance is?", which Zandalor recognized as the axe monument in the dwarven village.
After switching to the download version, the first time I tried loading your save my game locked up at the end of the load process. I restarted, loaded my test save to make sure the game itself wasn't at fault, then loaded your save again, which worked fine. I'm not sure if the crash was just a random glitch (probably, though I didn't have a ton of stuff open in the background, or anything), or if loading my save first helped. In any case, I saved after scrying in your game and returned the save to you.
