Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Help/Tips/Tricks How do you use alchemy? (need a quick referesher)

So, in light of Original Sin, Dragon Commander, and all this new Divinity activity, I decided it was about time I actually get back and finish the Ego Draconis game I started and put on hold (and never got back to for a few years...>_>). I've got my bearings again on just about everything but alchemy. When I talk with the NPC to make potions, I can click them to set them to 6/10 etc depending on how many I can make with my available stuff, but I can't seem to find anything that will let me confirm or otherwise actually have him make them into usable items. Does it just take time or am I missing a button somewhere?

You should just need to hover the cursor over the desired potion and left click, as long as the second number is not zero (how many you have / how many you have ingredients to make).
There is no time needed to make potions, except the free ones Barbatos can make if you picked him as your alchemist.

I can click them, and it will go from being 0/10 to say 6/10, but I can't seem to find anything to confirm the selection/actually obtain the potions. When I talk to him again, it will have everything selected as it was before, but nothing seems to be getting created. Am I supposed to be picking them up from a nearby chest or something? Going to poke at it again some more today but can't seem to sort it out. I know it's going to be something stupidly obvious, I know I had it working when I originally started playing it


Update: Looks like I was thinking too hard on it. The X/X is how much you have in inventory. Wasn't paying attention that they were just popping in there (already had a bunch littering up that tab). Thanks anyway!
