Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Co-Op on Same Copy?

(I didn't see this anywhere so forgive me if this is a double post)

What a gorgeous game. Larian, thank you for this. My partner and I are both ridiculously excited.

That being said, we backed today and got one copy. Will we both be able to play on that copy, or will we need to pre-order another one when it becomes available? If we have to, I suppose we will, but we were hoping to be able to play together on just the one.

Does anyone know for sure yet?

Do you mean technically, or legally/ethically?

A DRM free game can be installed on more than one computer that you own, but it would be against the TOS to have more than one copy running at the same time.

If you bump up your pledge to the $40 tier (if you are able), that would give you 2 copies of the game cheaper than getting one copy now and another at release.

Aaaah, I see. That makes sense. :-/ I'm not sure I could do it now so I may end up having to stop by GoG again when it comes out and grab another copy.
