1. Would it be possible to do PVP modes?
2. Some restrictions on the size of the game world?
3. The editor has a GUI?
Very many young people play in the RPG. However, if there is only scripting language it will be difficult. And with the GUI mods will be more, much more.
4. Is it possible to create fashion with other combat system?
5. Is it possible to make their abilities/talents/attributes?

Oh! Sorry, not the partition. I beg to move in Divinity Original Sin

It was said the regions in D:OS are comparable to DD in size, but I don't know if that is due to any limits in the editor, or hard drive / memory requirements or if that was just thought to be large enough to fit everything they wanted to put in a particular area.

The editor does have a GUI (several of the kickstarter updates feature videos of things being done with the editor. There are some things that are automated, the dialog editor has templates for various situations, etc.

Currently you can not use the editor to change any game systems (like switch to real time combat or create new spells). Larian has plans for additional games using this engine, though, so after D:OS is released the editor will be update to facilitate this.

Existing spells can be modified and effects changed.

Does anyone know if D:OS will be mod friendly in a similar way to Oblivion or Skyrim or NWN/2? I know earlier titles in the Divinity series haven't been, and I was hoping we'd be able to do a lot more with this as far as making and editing clothes/armor/weapons/buildings in Blender and Nifksope...

Even the ability to access the game's files to retexture armor/weapons/skin tones would be really awesome. smile

EDIT: I just read the thread about the modding sub-forum and a lot of my questions were answered. I'd still love to know how much of the game's resources we'll have access to, though...o.o;;

Many statements/quotes from Larian about the capabilites of the editor are saved here (see Editor&Modding): http://www.weresheep.net/doku.php?id=woos:ks_devquotes

PUVer: I'm the biggest supporter for PvP around here, but I think modding it in is pointless without design mechanics like leaderboards, matchmaking/balancing , team-voice support, ....

The more restrictions will be in the editor, the less will be its popularity. And that's a fact.The simplicity and the lot of opportunities is a guarantee of success. And I hope the Larian can't fail wink

Are there any fans of the gothic series by Pirahna Bites id like to make a mod with the editor to follow the story of gothic's first titles, 1 and 2.
