Since Dragon Commander and Original Sin use the same engine, is there mod support in Dragon Commander also? Will the editor shipped with Original Sin be able to modify the tactical maps for example? Will there be a way to modify the unit stats and upgrades, the cards, maybe even the strategic map?

Might players even be able to create their own choice-consequences for the ambassadors and so on?

The last time someone asked about mod support, Larian said they were considering it. I don't know if it has become more or less likely since then.

In one of their kickstarter updates they started the video talking about the things they can do with the mod tools for Original sin and shown how they made a modification to the background of one of the rooms of the ship, Where catwalks now actually have imp workers moving objects around, so MAYBE there is a possibility that they will have mod support in Dragon Commander.

Thanks Raze. Hoping for the best, I guess.

@Alastar

Now that you mention it, yeah I remember that one too. It's not quite what I was looking for, though, since it's not very meaningful gameplay-wise. But gives hope I guess. : )

On the RPG Codex, Forktong said the tools used to make Dragon Commander were different from the ones used to build Original Sin, so the OS editor isn't going to work for DC.
