Hey I was wondering if I could use the paypal system which is still open to add on to my kickstarter pledge of 35$ and get the tier update as-well. (if it matters I wanna upgrade to 65$) Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am pretty new here, and thanks in advance for any response you guys can give me

Well that's a shame, but thanks for the quick reply. Should of pledged 65$ earlier but didn't have the money

@bgRoman The $65 tier was limited , so you wouldn't be able to upgrade to that tier anyway.

I actually looked on the kickstarter page and saw one slot open, but I guess it doesn't matter either way, I'll just pre-order it once it's available on steam.

Late in the campaign there were open slots in limited tiers that had previously filled up, as people changed tiers. The $65 tier slots didn't stay open for very long, though.

I don't understand why they say no when other Kickstarters are doing just that; allowing pledges to be added to via PayPal after the Kickstarter has finished
Torment did it, Dreamfall is doing it, and there are others
Plus, if people are still donating via PayPal till 10 of May, is the money just going into a big fund or something? Like, if I were to go donate $100 via PayPal it's just taken as simply that, a donation, and I get nothing out of it?

I believe other Kickstarters had to develop their own system for handling that sort of thing. So is Larian, they're trying to upgrade the Larian vault to let people manage their pledges and get add-ons.

Other kickstarters may have more people / time / resources to devote to managing Paypal pledges, and/or Larian being in Belgium and having a US subsidiary to run the kickstarter may add extra expenses or hassle dealing with Paypal.
If people donate to a donation fund (RPGWatch or RPGCodex), then they do not get anything directly out of it still get rewards corresponding to the level of 'donation' (there are also collective rewards for the groups, and that rivalry will be reflected in the game, with the outcome determined by the results of the respective fundraisers). If people go the the D:OS Paypal pledge page, then they get whatever tier that they pledge for.

if we have already ordered a game (with the weresheep badge), can we make a donation via the paypal page to get additionnal addons (The weresheep Tshirt for example^^) or do we have to re-order the game to get any additionnal addons?

No, you can't. Hold off a couple weeks while Larian gets their system for the Larian Vault up and running so other things like that are possible. They only had a 4-person team to do all the Kickstarter stuff.

Raze: actually I don't think that's true what you are saying about codex & watch. Depending on what you pledge you do get a reward 0-25 though you get nothing. Only from 25 upward you do get a copy of the game and further up other things.

You are correct. I had looked at the start of the RPGWatch forum topic where they mentioned the collective rewards and bonuses for those who contributed the most, but not the donation page where it details the individual rewards based on donation (though if you are getting a direct reward, technically I don't think it counts as a donation). Also, a couple people have mentioned pledging on kickstarter and then giving a little extra through RPGWatch or RPGCodex.

is there anyway to get a refund on the pay-pal extras for those of us who used it before the "Not going to work" announcement ?. I had assumed since the pay-pal was through the official www.divinityoriginalsin.com/kickstart.php that it would work but now 10 days later we are getting told that it won't work . I am sorry if the comment seems offensive or rude but even reading that page again it still leads you to believe that it will add to your current pledge . Or atleast an official comment on the issue ?.

It is possible the upgrades to the Larian Vault could recognize the situation of multiple Paypal pledges from the same address, and let you resolve it as pledge and add-on. If not, then I think it will require a manual adjustment, if possible, after the work on the Vault is done.
From the kickstarter comments: 'The idea is indeed that you can manage your add-ons via the vault and that you can "upgrade" should you so want.'
