Hi, AkashD, and welcome to the forums! smile

I'm pretty sure you are referring to Divinity: Original Sin, and I'm pretty sure backstabbing will have its benefits and effects. However, to my knowledge, the details are not out yet, nor are they set in stone.

Hmm, perhaps this thread ought to be moved to the D:OS forum?

AkashD,

Welcome to the forums!

I believe your talking about extra damage when your character is attacked from behind? An example being an enemy sneaking up from behind the main character and knocking them out. Being this is turn-based, I'm not sure how that will work. It would be interesting if the battles did start with the monsters jumping out from behind a bush and delivering the first attack with extra damage and stun effects.

A lot of us are really excited about this game coming out. Chances are high that Larian staff has read this or will read this thread shortly. They are well known for taking customer feedback very seriously and implementing it into the game if it is possible.

Voodoou, flaming other users on this forum is not welcomed here. We are all customers/fans of the game franchise and should treat each other like friends.

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

on wizardry 8 - the best example i can currently think of which paired real time play with turn based combat - if you were searching or running you could get suprised
